Investing in a proper gun safe.

Read on to find out why Gunvault SpeedVault SV500 Gun Safe may be the best option for you.

–Features that set Gunvault SpeedVault SV500 Gun Safe apart–

While you will probably find numerous viable gun safes in the market, you may not find something that will give you fast access. This is exactly what the Gunvault SpeedVault SV500 provides in spades. It gives you an edge with its fast access mechanism, making your hand gun action-ready at all times. It ensures your firearm stays safe without slowing you down. Its revolutionary design makes it a fast, yet secure means of gun safety.

The gun safe comes with a fast activation drop down drawer which will let you take charge in cases of emergency within a fraction of a second. Moreover the material is made of 18 gauge steel to ensure the gun’s safety.

The gun safe is compact and lightweight. It should easily fit in your office or home. Plus, its flexible design provides multiple mounting options. You can easily mount it without blocking its door or keypad.

It is also relatively easy to install. The safe comes with an easy to follow manual, and you should be able to mount it within 25 minutes.

The internal flood light system of the vault comes in handy when adding or removing content from the gun vault at nights. The internal flood light illuminates the whole of the gun, making it easier for you to get a hold of the grip.

It also features a quick access digital key pad and is very affordable compared to other gun safes in the market.

Another advantage of the gun vault is its back up override key that lets you access your gun during emergencies. It also comes in handy during battery failures.

Also, you can easily change the programming and the sound settings of the vault with just a press of a few buttons.

You can either choose from its biometric lock or combination lock system. With the biometric lock system the keypad is integrated with a biometric reader which scans your fingerprints, verifies them and only then gives you access to the firearm. It allows you to register up to 120 fingerprints to access the gun which adds to its benefits. The combination lock system, on the other hand, lets you set a multiple digit password which will be required to enter every time you want to access the gun.

–Customer review and score–

I first bought this gun safe when my 1 year old started learning to walk. Initially, I would keep it in the drawer of the bedside table, but with my daughter walking and touching things freely, it had turned into a risky situation. Therefore, I had to purchase a gun safe. It was incredibly cheap and fairly easy to install and looked secure enough as well. The walls are quite thick and should protect it from my child though I am skeptic if it is good enough to handle brute force, say from a hammer. The lock system is great. I prefer using the biometric system. Plus, I like its fast access feature. Previously, it would make a beep sound every time I would unlock the vault, so I had to change the settings which wasn’t complicated at all. But I couldn’t find any workaround to the mechanical whirring noise it makes during locking and unlocking the door. I would rate this product 4 stars.

When the vault is unlocked, it makes a mechanical whirring sound and also gives off a bright internal light.

The gun safe is not at all applicable for pistols with longer barrels.

The gun safe may protect your firearm from kids but its not thick enough to withstand attacks. The thin case can be easily opened with a with a saw or a hammer.

The Gunvault SpeedVault SV500 gun safe may not be applicable for serious gun collectors but it’s ideal for single gun users. It is targeted towards a specific group of users with specific needs and its features are great for the low price.
